Not really @Hostafan1. I can think of much better uses for that much money, including gardens for hospices and hospitals etc, hostels and shelter for the homeless, food and toys for the food banks - unless of course she has other philanthropic ventures.
Unless you own a jewellery shop, I think we could all think of better things to do with that sort of money.
I like the 'rethink HS2' Christmas advert. I imagine it will touch the heart of Boris and he'll have a Scrouge-esque Christmas revelation and the woods will be saved...
Just read what to me at least are two pieces of PC madness.
1. A university psychologist says calling somebody a geek or nerd should be treated as a hate crime.
2. A woman on social media has been getting abuse for referring to Father Christmas rather than Santa Claus because Father Christmas isn't a gender neutral term. I wouldn't have thought a massive white beard was gender neutral either, but what do I know
St Nicholas (Sinta Claes in Dutch and Flemish) is celebrated in Belgium and the Netherlands and it's on his day - Dec 6th - that kids get their presents - treats and sweets if they've been good or coal if they haven't. He's an old bishop from Myra in what is modern day Turkey and instead of having reindeer and elves as his accomplices he has Zwarte Piet (Black Pete) to help carry.
Certainly not gender neutral but definitely covers the Black, Asian, Mixed Race PC requirements.
Needless to say in Belgium there are moves to ban people dressing up as Black Pete and there is outrage at PC moves to ban the traditional Christmas crèches in town squares in case it offends the non Christians and to call Easter the spring break. Ok to celebrate Ramadan tho.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.
"The price good men (and women) pay for indifference to public affairs is to be ruled by evil men (and women)."

Gotta just love religion . Just brings everyone together...... NOT
@philippa smith2 as with anything I suppose it depends on the tone of voice - scathing, sneering, angry, matter of fact, congratulatory - or expression on the face - disdain, contempt, smile....
You do have to be clever to be a geek, after all, but it's often the kind of cleverness that focuses on one particular subject or skill set and is associated with poor social skills which are now more easily identified on the Asperger/autism spectrum and that's where it becomes non PC.

I'm not sure if she's the daughter who had something like a £12 million limit for her wedding and overspent!
We had a Black Santa on posters at work one year. Cultural appropriation?

I suppose you could do seed bombing if you want to continue with the gardening while you're on the run.
