North East Somerset - Clay soil over limestone
  • Hmm.  Anyone know if Anemones (de Caen, if it matters) will still grow if planted upside down??  I watched a youtube video, explaining how you plant the corms smooth side down, before putting several (7?  10?  Wish I could remember) in the gaps between the winter-flowering heathers in a pot, a few days ago.  Yesterday OH kicked the pot off the step...  I've replanted the heathers and tried to find all the anemones, but they look like the lumps in the compost.   :/
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

To buy a fresh banana I'd think  :D
    Well... you're not wrong :o

If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

How much training is needed for a police officer to become a special banana services operative? Do they have to undergo tests to ensure they are not vegetarian or, god forbid, fruitarian?

Can you imagine the conversation when those police officers go home...

'Good day dear? Anything exciting happen?'
    'Not much'
    'What were you doing?'
    'Ehhh......guarding bananas'

    Silence

Well the Sainsbury's TTD one would be a waste of money as it would be sacrilegious to taste a great work of art.
When you think about it, it's great art for the masses. Anyone  can have a copy in their ho so long as you're happy to share it with fruit flies.

    Which reminds me:

    Time flies like an arrow.

    Fruit flies like a banana.
