Curmudgeonly about our recycling, Ā we had nice dark boxes, blue for glass and paper, dark green for plastic and tins both with black lids., didn’t look too bad in the garden, we haven’t had them long.
Now they’ve sent round horrible white plastic things, like builders bags but smaller, sticking out like a sore thumb in the garden. Ā What’s the point in wasting those other boxes.Ā

Re the Black Friday - Ā the Friday before Christmas is known as Black Friday in the NHS/ambulance service/police force as there is a spike in party-related ā€˜incidents’ so nobody wants that shift!Ā

Why do takeaways with five star scores on the doors always taste bland or straight from the cash and carry vacuum packed? Is there a reciprocity between lack of hygiene and taste?

Did anyone else find the Sainsbury's Christmas advert effort crass and tasteless bearing in mind the poverty extant in modern Britain or is it just me?

All Christmas adverts apart from the Irn Bru one, are pants!
