I don't believe anything any politician of any party says. I don't think I ever have, does anybody?  Right now, they'd promise you the earth if they thought there was a vote up for grabs.
The old joke "How do you know when a politician is lying?"  Their lips move, has never been more true.  The big problem at present is that we have seen that no form of coalition will work - they can't even get agreement from all people supposedly on the same political side!  The only way out of the mess in the short term is to give one party a workable majority and let them get on with it.  My only caveat is don't let it be Corbyn or we will be in far greater trouble than we already are.  Remember, even the parliamentary Labour party didn't actually want him.

Corbyn and Johnson are toxic to anyone with centrist leanings. ( is that an oxymoron?). Wouldn't it be nice if one or both of them did the decent thing?

Why limit "decent" to just those two?

    Why are people so thick?
I've just watched the bin lorry try to reverse into the rear access lane across from me. Three people have parked their cars in it - two on one side with a gap of about twenty feet, the other one is on the opposite side between those two.
Just what shape do they think the lorry needs to be to negotiate that?  :/

They'd better hope there isn't a fire in one of the houses....

I won an auction on Ebay but the seller cancelled because they'd 'lost' the item. I had to jump through some hoops just to leave them neutral feedback in case they pulled this nonsense again. Now they've found the item a few days later and relisted it for more than I won the auction so I reported them to Ebay. Ebay can't tell me what happens now or what action they take so I'm guessing they do nothing as usual and dodgy sellers get to keep messing people around. :|
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

It's been so long since I've bought , or sold at auction via ebay, but I seem to remember when they stopped customers being able to say anything "negative" about sellers.

"Feedback" is , in theory a great thing, but so easily abused , just look at Trip Advisor where businesses get feedback even after they've ceased trading  and the famous "top tourist attraction in Bude".... the plastic tunnel at Sainsbury's
