Results are all good apparently LB, except for slightly high cholesterol - nothing else is abnormal.

LB, yes, those are the ones I have.  Great for using one as a rake on the back steps too.
Going for weekly natter the corner this afternoon.  Will hear about the wedding in the marquee......not only was the weather cold but it was raining.

That is great news Chey. Just have to take a look at your diet and make just minor adjustments. I had forgotten about the wedding Joyce. I'll bet those people were frozen! I look forward to hearing the gossip

    Good evening to all.
I came from quick trip to SM. Weather is gastly whole day. Heavy rain and wind, just horrible. It was only one short break from rain so I managed to walk with my dog.
If rain stop tomorrow I'll go to cottage and plant all spring bulbs.

    How are you all today?

Pansy - Chive's nomination for writing rather than quilting is seconded!

I think it sounds as though progress is being made on the feline front. Maybe Elsa is gaining a little confidence and now regards upstairs as her territory and is starting to defend it instead of running away. I suspect at some stage there will be a showdown but, so long as it's more about who knows the most feline swear words and can shout them the loudest for longest, that's a good and normal thing to happen.

I seem to have done sod all today - and I spent all day doing it🤔. Nipped outside to do some weeding and got rained off, made a phone call, spent hours on t'interweb.

    It won't do - really it won't.

Too it’s been that sort of day though I did buy a bird table. From a little local shop so hoping the birds use it and the cats let them! Lots of very loud fireworks here must be costing a fortune. Chey good news about your health. PF looking forward to the further adventures of the kitty cats

    Very quiet on here tonight.

Chey, you will be happy that your blood results were fine.  Maybe cut back on the drinking chocolate.....
Hazel, you would have been exhausted after 23's visit.

Still not the usual number of birds at the feeders.  They are busy with the berries.

Hope the quiz night went well LB.

Good morning Debs and all to follow. We had a fun night last night - didn't win but enjoyed the socialising. It was very cold driving home and the amber ice warning illuminated on my dashboard.
Slept like a log and am ready for whatever today decides to throw at me. The latest kitty cat story had me laughing this morning - love starting the day with a smile.
Ante I feel for you, having experienced similar days for what seems like most of this year!
Friend from Crewe and I are going to a GC this morning (any excuse in my book)- she wants to see the seasonal dekkies. I still have a loyalty voucher to use up.

Chive (I think it was you who said you would like to see my Bestie's Halloween dekkies!)
I'll post some later after my guest has gone home.
