A very good morning to the night owls Chive and SGL (hopefully fast asleep now) and to everyone to follow. Thoughts are with the people in Yorkshire suffering the brunt of the flooding. I can't even begin to think what I would do in similar circumstances and bless all the good souls who have been working together in their communities to offer assistance.

Good morning all, clear day here too so the remembrance parade will be well attended I think.
Treated myself to a facial and massage yesterday then home to binge watch Glee ( I know I am far too late but I discovered it by accident on a Netflix and am loving it) with kitty cats then an early night. Things with mom are getting more difficult daily and I needed a day for myself which I almost managed.
Thoughts go to all those affected by flooding it’s about time the government stopped messing about with nonsense and started helping people affected.
LB hope there wasn’t anything you urgently needed in that elusive parcel!

I have been rumbled. How did you know Lants ?😁. How are you doing  in this miserable weather ?
Re blank page . I couldn’t move the cursor from right of page and the page kept getting longer . Had to shut down iPad for a couple of minutes.

Morning - sunny and crisp today. Very pleasant for those attending Remembrance services in the area. The village service here is held in the church and always well attended. The Local Salvation Army brass band come along to provide the music. Will be quite challenging this year as the church windows are being done and the chancel is full of scaffolding, dust sheets etc etc. They’ll manage somehow.

LB - fingers crossed for your parcel today. At least they’re not saying they’ve delivered it when they haven’t. As somebody said, deliveries may have been disrupted by problems on the roads. Depends where their depot is and where else they’re trying to deliver to I suppose.

Chive I hope you enjoyed your mint tea and went back to bed.  Lily hope you eventually slept.  I popped to bed after my tea and eventually slept - cat:human ratio to bed.  I do feel too for those that have suffered the floods and thank goodness that some are being helped, hopefully all.  Debs hope mum has some comfort and feels better soon.  LB we shall remember them, very important.

Afties all. Ruby I love your blank prose ! T'Bird I meant to say last night that the stitch used on the baby coat is a variation of star stitch. I have been very emotional watching all the Remembrance Day programmes. I suppose its because I think about my Dad more especially at these times. Its a happy emotional time, not a sad one.
As for the parcel - it will get here when it gets here or maybe it will just join PF's sweater somewhere in Hermes' black hole. There was no further update on the tracking page so I'm guessing M-U is correct in that it will be delivered tomorrow. The minor irritant is having to hang around waiting. I abandoned the idea of shopping today as I had not factored in the various road closures associated with parades and if I have to wait for the package tomorrow, shopping will definitely get put on the back burner.
PF - that horrible story made me shudder.
