I've seen lsw in the garden before but got the impression that they were a bit bigger but I didn't really have much time to look this time. Do they have an erratic flight pattern? If yes, that's probably what it was. @Dovefromabove

Long tailed tit? They are up down with their flight.

Undulating flight and the size is about right, and if you’ve seen them around (lucky you) then I think that’s it.

Flock of parakeets lurking in the trees like a scene from The Birds. My feeder is not parakeet proof . I shake them off and they return almost immediately. B3's bird seed takeaway is closing down for a while. It will return when they've found somewhere else to gorge themselves😠

They'll be back so think about a parakeet and squirrel proof feeder so the other birds aren't deprived.

It is squirrel proof, but th b****y parakeets hang off the top to avoid the spring mechanism.
Ive been putting a little on the ground so that at least everyone has a chance but I want to make sure there isn't enough left over for rats etc. Ive never noticed parakeets ground feeding but I suppose they do.

Get one with a cage round the feeding centre thru which only small birds can pass.
