Bird feeder observation

    I think they use varying Millet seed to bulk out the bags, they do over here, and they always get left unless there is nothing else to eat. something like why eat bread when you can eat cake!

    It's  the round shiny red ones   red millet? The packet also mentions red dari so I suppose it might be one of those two

    I think millet is smaller @B3, but maybe it's the dari? The birds usually eat millet - especially robins etc.

    What are the little black ones? They look like sweet peas!

    That's interesting @B3, I looked up red dari seeds and i see they are a good source of protein and carbohydrates for wild birds so that's good if it's in the mix. All ours get is different coloured millet seeds.

    Ill check the packet.
    Black rape seed I think. Sweet peas are much bigger.

    I really hope dari doesn't germinate easily in this country😕
