Cleaning used plant pots

The spider mites won't really have anything to do with the pots @Gardeninggirl36, so no need to worry about that  :)
That's more of a cultural issue - they like crowded foliage, and in a warm environment, like a greenhouse, they can be a nuisance. Keeping a good airflow round your plants might help prevent them, as well as dampening down the floor etc.  :)

About once a year, when heavy rain is forecast I hurl all my pots out onto the terrace.   We do get torrential storms here, so it works well enough.

If I were to put mine out in heavy rain I’d never see them again. Over the hills and far away.

Wash ours in water from the butts at the glasshouse, don't bother to disinfect.

I've that many pots I find them easier to stack when clean and they haven't stuck together when needed the following year.,

Gosh - you stack them?  :D
Mine are sometimes stacked 'a bit' - I just shout at them if/when I can't get them apart  ;)

I used to stack my pots roughly by size on green mesh shelving from ex mini greenhouses - the ones that lose their covers in the first strong winds!  They would, very occasionally, get a blast from the hosepipe to clean off muck and dust but never any disinfectant.   I gave up the blasting after finding all sorts of spiders, beetles and such using them as housing.

Spider mites thrive in warm, dry conditions so a daily misting of the pepper plants will help with that as will @Fairygirl's suggestion of damping the greenhouse floor every day to create humidity.

Mine get washed for seeds and cuttings because these are more vulnerable plant stages but also because I grow these things in the conservatory and don't want wee beasties in the house. Everything else just gets papped into the nearest pot of suitable size
