    *Spoiler below*

I was sorry to see Anneka leave, she may not have been the greatest dancer, but she certainly embraced the Strictly experience,  and l would have liked to have seen her attempt another ballroom dance in a dress !
For those who watch it , "It takes two" is back on BBC 2 this week now that the athletics meeting has finished.

I have to respectfully disagree I didn't think that Anneka was trying she looked as if she hadn't trained and had no interest in dancing, the little choreography that Kevin had given her she couldn't even be bothered to lift her leg off of the floor 6 inches behind her when they stood facing the camera leaning on their sticks (swords), I think that Ann Widdecombe had more go in her. It made me smile when Lady Weymouth had to dress as a servant and she said that Aljaz was playing the part of the butler and that she was the chefs helper, she couldn't bring herself to say servant.

Anneke looked like she understood nothing about dance being, at its most fundamental, being movement with music.   She had no rhythm, no musicality, no bounce, no flair which is a shame as she's fit enough to have done better.   Came across as terminally stoopid on this show.

  • She looked stunning in a dress, and I thought she would have done better after last week performance, the ex footballer is a bit wooden, but he is trying,I dont want to see him in the dance off next Sat.

The dress hid many sins I think.  The track suit showed just how hopelessy unrhythmical she is with no bend in her knees or ankles and no flow in her arm movements.   No idea.

Agree about that tall, skinny footballer but I do think he is at least trying to move.  It isn't given to everyone to develop acting genes overnight and I do sometimes think the judges expect too much "performance" rather than technique especially early on.

. And as for Kevin and his OTT reaction through the years, on learning who his partner would be 🙄. I liked him when he first started, but l think his ego has taken over.
Woudn't it be great if one of the dancers actually said "You must be ****ing joking" when they were given the novelty turn as a partner.

I think Anton fully expected to get Anneka. If l recall correctly there was only her and "Emma from Eastenders" left,  and him and Kevin.
After Kevin won last year though, l'm not sure he would have got another Stacey.

I heard a whisper that there may be a same sex partnership on dancing on ice next year, hasn't the world changed since 1954?

Really don’t like the idea of same sex partnerships on Strictly
Just put TV on for this weeks show
