Barry Ireland , curious , what happened in Blackpool?
  • I believe that he had his nose broken.
  • At a nightclub

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

  • Yes it wasn't his nose after all it was his teeth but the police said they couldn't find any evidence of an assault.
  • Don't agree with chris's dance at all to let's get ready to rumble. This programme should be about ballroom, tango, waltz ect not that modern rubbish. I realise it needs to be kept fresh but it's not my taste, see what happens with the vote

I enjoyed Kelvin and Oti, but at first l couldn't put my finger on why. Then l realised that when they started dancing, there was silence from the studio audience, and all l could hear was the music.  Needless to say, it didn't last !
I heard Zoe refer on It takes two, to complaints made to Points of View about the clapping , so they are obviously aware of it.

I thought Chris's dance was really good tho OH didn't like it.  On the other hand, I spent years as the dance club's adult presence at adolescent street/Hip Hop classes so I know the moves rather better than someone like OH who just does ballroom and salsa and line dancing.

I thought Emma's rumba was very poor and didn't much like Anton's choreography and I thought Saffron's salsa was very short on armography which is waht salsa is all about.

Enjoyed the other Emma's samba tho a bit short on the bounce.  Loved Michelle's Paso - clever choreography from Giovanni - and Kelvin's Viennese waltz and Karim's quickstep.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

I watch it after recording it so I can fast forward between the dances.  I must say  that most of it bears little resemblance to the ballroom dancing I did when I was 10.  I realise that at that time the Jive was modern , but still.

We're still having lessons @Fidget and it bears littel resemblance to what we learn but then our classes are aimed at giving us figures to get round a dance floor in a general anti-clockwise direction for all the ballroom plus samba and Paso rather than all the "show" stuff we get in SCD.
