  • In the news today Neil back in Kevin out, lady Emma heartbroken, they really should be prepared to be voted off so as not to be heartbroken.

I can understand why Lady emma is sad as she was not the worst dancer on the night - t'other Emma was - and in the dance off a lively Charleston was always going to please more than an elegant samba.   I'd much rather an elegant, smooth samba than the ones where the girl wears tail feathers or their equivalent and it's all bounce.

I'm not keen on either Neil or Kevin but I do like Alex and how she's coped with it all.

  • I think Alex has the makings of a real star ... she’s one of those folk with real intelligence and an innate understanding of what is required to succeed at whatever she’s trying to do ... and she’s a tv natural ... the camera loves her (just like with Nadia Hussein)  I can see her becoming a real celebrity not just ‘someone we might or might not have heard of’ .

  • I wonder if Mike Bushell will make Blackpool?

I caught a little bit of "It takes two" last night, and the Friday panel were unanimous in nominating Mike and Katya as the next to go. Mind you l think they may have been saying that for a few weeks now.
I think this week's dance should suit Emma.
    Is it Blackpool next weekend?
  • I don't think that Blackpool is Lady Emma's thing I read that the Viscount has taken her on holiday, the West Indies I suppose, I bet she's devastated.

All I can say is that is somebody is "heartbroken" at being voted of a Saturday night light entertainment show they need to get a life.

Some really good dances tonight , will be interesting to see who the GBP end up in the Dance off
Agree with some other comments about Alex , not the best dancer but good on camera

Odd night tonight.  Karim too nervous and making errors, Alex's jive with not enough in hold (for me), Mike's Paso like painting by numbers, Chris's tango on his toes (should be heel leads) but otherwise good, Emma's very quiet, still, posed Jazz dance (boring), Saffron's technically good waltz but I didn't like the choreography, Michelle's glorious American smooth and Kelvin's salsa which was the first with any armography this series.

    Not a thrilling night.

  • Shame about Karims mistakes tonight, seemed very nervous. Was rather surprised he had a few tears. Was also surprised at Claudias remark at him not being at Blackpool next week.....meant to be joking I know......but he was upset at the time.
Liked Emma's dance and Saffrons.  Michelle was very good too.
Liked Kelvins salsa  ......liked his hip action 😉😉
Really hope Mike goes this week, but I have a feeling it's not him that leaves 😣
