The competition is the best it has ever been but then again I think that it has improved year on year since the very early clumsy beginning where Chris Parker got second place. This year the judges seem to be scoring some competitors by different criteria depending on who they are though but it's an entertainment show rather than a competition so I don't suppose it matters that much.

I thought everyone did well. Kelvin is amazing. Glad Anton has a partner who can dance for a change. I hope David (the goalkeeper) isn't in the dance off again, he has improved so much in the last week.

There was certainly a lot of improvement last night in everyone except the female footballer, I thought.   Everyone else seems to have grasped th eneed to perform as well as to dance.

I thought the salsa lacked armography and, for me, it is all about the figures with the arms but she is an amzing woman and made it look good anyway.  Has Giovanni had a personality transplant?  He's being remarkably nice and polite this year.

Katya is defintely odd this year and her choreography not up to usual inventive standard but I did enjoy that quickstep last night.

I think Katya is about to have a breakdown poor girl.
Same sex dancers wouldnt bother me,but If it were men, they could hardly put one in a dress, and I would miss the fabulous dresses.  On the other hand two women in big puffy dresses wouldnt look right, also could they do the lifts??
    As you were I think.

ps I know the result too.

Won't say who went, just in case there are still people who haven't seen it, but the professional dancer seemed absolutely distraught. I have never seen that reaction before, and all their colleagues seemed similarly affected.

No spoliers here either but I agreed with the judges - better choreography and much better performance by the couple they "saved".

Have to agree the judges got it right but the worst dancer didn't leave and the partner seemed to be in love again very confusing.
