Morning all . All this talk of cycling brings back so many memories . But I think I would be too frightened to go out in heavy traffic these days .I must say I quite fancy a three wheeler ,electric of course .It would be useful to ride round our local area.

Morning all. Bright and sunny out there but lots of noise from machinery out the back.
Podiatrist coming later then I'm out for weekly natter round the corner.

Fortunately anyone who comes to stay here knows that I like peace and quiet in the mornings so they usually make themselves a cuppa and take it back to bed.

Hazel , I am very tempted . Planted some more bulbs this morning and cleared a lot of twigs and leaves in for a cupp.

Afties all. Ruby are you REALLY sure that you want an electric trike? After all Hazel said she has seen 'the odd person' with one. Are you an odd person?
Hazel the forecast seems to be improving through the week so hopefully on Saturday it will be nice. I just hope it stays dry.

Hazel it's good your heel is feeling better and that you are able to walk.  Chive hope you had a good day and that your youngest is enjoying his birthday gifts.  The sun has just come out brightly and Alfie has been sitting on the windowsill enjoying the warmth.  Joyce hope your legs are improving.  LB a little countdown before the special day.

Just been to see neighbour to say thanks for keeping an eye on the house while we were away and I bumped into one of the kittens - they are growing soooo fast. Still cuties for the moment though.

Ruby I have an electric bike (not a trike). I love it. Still have to pedal (there's no motor like a moped) but it's lovely for going uphill. A bit like somebody giving you a bit of a push. You still puff and pant but it's like cycling over gently undulating ground instead of climbing thigh-burner hills.

Every other bike in Germany (maybe more) is electric. Mine's a German one. Built like a tank - heavy as heck.

Popped to the library at lunchtime. Some dozey old woman (who probably shouldn't be driving....) scraped the rear bumper of my car getting out of the tightish car park. I don't know whether she didn't realise she'd done it or just chose to ignore the fact, but she just drove off without hesitation before I could chase after her.

On the slightly plus side I have white paint along the plastic bumper of my (quite old) car which (hopefully) will polish off. She has probably got a nice long scrape all along the side of her (much newer) white car. Serves her right. She'll probably be wondering who did it (if she ever sees it). 🤬

Hello Rebecca, T'Bird and Chive. Yes, T'Bird, that has happened to me in the past only it was a dozey old bloke but at least he stopped and got the scrape all sorted for me eventually.
Pleased to say that Lily is better now Chive which is a big relief to me.
