Morning Joyce. I was meaning to tell you this the other day. You know that I had bought a Tricyrtis and was eagerly awaiting its flower opening, well some slimy horror, not sure whether slug or snai,l completely decimated my plant and left me with a stick! Grrrrr.

I grow mine in a large pot LB to avoid the s&s.  It's sickening when that happens.

Thats good to know Joyce as it is still in the pot I bought it in - I was going to plant it out once it had flowered. I will plant it out into a pretty pot just made for it and keep a careful eye open for the beasties.

Afternoon Chey. How are you? It has gone cool here and overcast. Got some weeding and greenhouse watering done. I'm hoping to have a catch up with Jack (cat sitter) later as I haven't seen him to speak to face to face. He and his daughter will be looking after Lily for me when I go to France next month. Its always a relief to get a cat sitter sorted.

Debs, Jack is fine but he is sad he cannot do anything to ease his daughter's pain. She has good days and bad days but has joined a group of people with similar sad stories so that they can bolster each other up. People deal with a loss in their own ways. Its her first meeting today and she's asked Jack to go with her. I'll see what he has to say when I see him later on.
