:) It's been raining.  Let's hope it continues.  Weather forecaster says weather will be coming more autumnal on Sunday.  Finished reading my book and I have a new one to start, that will keep me quiet.  Brought grandpa's weeder round for Rubee to borrow, it will save her bending as much and it makes it an easier job.   Just having pizza for tea.

Runners - Quite agree with you about BoJo. For me it's a relief to see somebody actually standing up to the European leaders and adopting the same bullish (even bullying) terminology and tactics they have used towards us.

And don't get me started on John Bercow....

Have just finished cutting the grass. You know I've been whingeing on about no rain? Guess what? Sharp bl$$dy showers all morning - just when I was wanting to get out there and do dead heading, grass cutting, put chairs away etc etc - typical.

Still more to do - SYL

Afties all. It has felt VERY autumnal today Rebecca. It has never stopped raining and Bestie had to put the heating on. We had a great day as per usual and at least we didn't have to go into the garden. We did a lot of talking about her son's garden but I don't mind that. It was amazing how quickly the time passed.
T'Bird - just when you DIDN'T want any rain. That is just typical.

After a few spots of rain first thing this morning it's been a beautiful warm, sunny day.
I was down the bottom garden and there are brambles six feet long coming through the shrubs from the woodland.  I'll attack them another day as there are no berries on them.

T'bird, I hope you have a good ferry crossing either tonight or in the morning.

LB, glad you had a rest and a long natter with your bestie.

I have been wrestling brambles off and on this week Joyce (between rain showers). They are persistent pests. I think they might be bird presents I have so many popping up.

The problem is that I have no access to the roots LB so it's a case of cutting them back.
