PF - 90% of that film is what I have experienced in the past. Those films are a work of genius in observation of cats. I never get bored watching them and they always bring a smile to my face.
Hello Chey. You will not be on your own putting some heating on - even if its just to take the chill off your room.

That is an amazing story M-U or should I call you Rowdy Yates (that's going back a fair while!)? Cows with calves can be extremely dangerous if they think their young 'uns are being threatened. I wonder how they escaped in the first place and I hope that your neighbour will be able to get some compensation from the farmer to replace her lawn, seat and table. You are right, no one mentions such bucolic happenings when wishing to move into the country - or the gorgeous smells that go with them!

M-U, thank your lucky stars that a big bull wasn't with them.
They could have caused a serious accident if they'd got onto the main road so it's just as well your OH had his wits about him.

I've just woken up after sleeping over an hour.  I needed to recharge my batteries. it's MU good indeed that you noticed the cows, quite a scary happening and sorted, but not for your neighbour.    Pansy love the Simon's cat video, so true.  They just know don't they.

I learned another expression for closing the door when I moved to Lancashire PF:
    'Put wood ith hole'

I used to use that expression to my students. I loved the blank look that came over their faces until they worked it out. They also never quite worked out "the 'p' is silent as in bath".
