Yeah, right!.....Hole...dig....I'll stop now before I hit gas and be banned for frakking (is that Frak and feldegarb as in Battlestar Gallatica?)

Got to go, so I can get comfortable to watch the game...make sure the beer is chilled and the half time sandwiches are ready.....and make sure there's a pillow handy to hide behind when the game goes pear shaped (thought I'd get some form of gardening reference in) - just heard that Mr Harry Hotspur isn't even in the travelling squad...Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
But on the bright side The Obvious Child is playing (a Paul Simon reference)..... Sing along...Had a little son and thought we'd call him Sonny.... Who'd deny the obvious child... (or something like that).

You mean you're not listening to Johnnie Walker @steveTu? Tut tut  ;)

Then he called him Harper. Not much of an improvement.... ;)

[I assume he's not talking about his own child, of course....]

😵totally lost the plot here. Happy to wait until something comes along that I can understand.
I suspect you're all talking about sport, so please don't explain😊

I wasn't @B3 - but we got sidetracked by @steveTu [who is talking footie] into a small Paul Simon tangent.... ;)

I understand Paul Simon . Tangent welcome. Despite Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes earworm. But carry on about sport, if you wish. I'm willing to wait for a while😊

     :D

I hated that album. It put me off Paul Simon.
I can hear the explosions of outrage - even all the way up here..... ;)

One or two tracks were ok, but I know what you mean.

Much of the story of Simon and Garfunkel hangs on massive egos, though, doesn't it? But they did make some amazing music, both together and separately, although I generally prefer the older stuff they did together.

Lots of really great musicians are not people I'd ever want to meet, but it doesn't stop me enjoying the songs. I bet Mozart was really annoying, too, I don't think it's a modern phenomenon.
