    Thanks LB.

Chive two classes are going with their Form Teachers and I was extra. Three teachers must go with children. Next year it's my turn.

Well I don't think I have much chance of seeing the Perseids in the early hours of tomorrow as it is absolutely monsooning it down again now.

Well I missed seeing the best show of the Perseids last night - as I suspected. Ah well, there is always next August if I don't manage to see anything this month.

    Morning everyone🙂

Not sure what I’m up to today. OH is going cycling with his club and he’s leading the ride starting from here which means the drive will be full of cars all day and there will be about 10 for tea and biscuits this afternoon. Sooooper! Better Col TT the downstairs loo if nothing else....

I thought Uni C was particularly - well - challenging - last night. I probably only got about 9 as well LB and OH didn’t do any better (between us we probably got about 12). It was a particularly low scoring match which also suggests the questions were either a bit obscure or very difficult. Like it most when there’s lots of anatomy / medical / English History / language questions.

Joyce - I also hope today is less stressful for you

Morning T'Bird. I was cautiously optimistic first thing this morning when there was a glimmer of sunlight but now its heaving down again. Whatever it decides to do, I am off to the GC. Its my Bestie's daughter's 40th later this month and her Mum assures me she wants a rake. Not a spring tine one. Ace excuse for a trip to GC though. Lets be honest, it doesn't take much. I will get her something else as well. She likes quirky fluffy things.
Re Uni Chall, I've thought that they have all been quite difficult so far this series but I'm happy with biology/ecology/general science and Eng Lang questions. I'm totally useless with physics and math questions. I was happy last night to get my mule and hinny questions correct. Right, I'm bracing myself now for my GC visit. I've also got some customer loyalty vouchers to use up by 18th so they'll come in handy for the rake purchase. I would like a ceramic bird bath for the back garden (easy to clean) to match the one I have in the front garden. I'll TRY and resist plants, as I'm going to the Southport Flower Show on Thursday. Can't promise though.
