Afternoon all. Another dry day but quite breezy too. I'm like Lants - hate gardening in the wind - makes me incredibly grumpy too😔

Been to the office this morning - seemed to get loads done nice and quickly and we still had time for a good chat. now I should be out 'doing stuff' in the motorhome with OH but I just feel incredibly weary. No idea why. Could have a little nanna nap if I thought about it.

MU - those little bits and pieces are lovely - particularly like the aga, bath and wardrobe. I'm going to think long and hard about getting a grown up dolls house.

LB - hope you get all your paperwork done. Boring job isn't it?

Oh yes - I can see it's a range and not an Aga now I've put me specs on🤓

The little flower pots and trowel are dead cute too.....

    Apropos of nothing....

Has anybody got one of those hori hori trowel / knife thingeys? Do you love it / hate it / think it does all jobs except ironing / think it does nothing more than a decent hand fork or trowel?

    Answers on a postcard please.

Thinking of asking for one for my birthday 'cos I am such a sucker for garden tools....

T'Bird I had a look for one of those trowels on the famous auction site. I saw one priced at - get this £924! I wrote to the seller thinking it must be a mistake but she replied saying that they were out of stock and this putting of a ridiculously high price on an item is a ploy to keep the listing open until the new stock comes in. Worryingly these trowels which are toothed on one side and very sharp are the weapons favoured by some criminals and you have to prove your age before you can buy one. It sort of put me off. They are about £24.
Chey - that is a beautiful sentiment.

When I was young , we had a  galvanised tin bath that came out on a Friday night . Sadly it  wasn’t  a full size and even as a youngster I had to do some tricky contortions to get in it . And needed mothers help to extricate myself . It was so lovely in front of a roaring coal fire . As MU says you had to be careful that it wasn’t too near to the fire otherwise you would be burned .

Nice to have some garden questions on Uni C.

We moved to a house with a bath when I was three so don't remember being washed in a tin bath.  I do remember staying with a friend where there was an outside wash house and the fire was lit under the boiler to heat the water.
