Tulip/Spring Bulbs source
in Plants
Looking for good, reliable, large tulips bulbs for next spring and https://www.peternyssen.com/ looks good at a glance.
Just looked at the prices on www.dutchbulbs.co.uk though and they're even better value for money.
Can anyone offer any comparable alternatives or mention experiences of these?

Bear in mind that sometimes bulbs are cheaper because they're a smaller size, so they're not always the bargain they seem
I've used GeeTee in the past and they're quite good too. I prefer P. Nyssen though.
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
For all I've learned in the past 2 years I only found out what that meant fairly recently. Was a bit disappointed with tulips this spring and I've since clocked they were 10/11 bulbs.
I've had quite a lot of bulbs of peter nyssen in the past, the quality over the past couple of years hasn't been good enough for me so shopped else where last year. I would still buy from PN in the future though so don't let my odd disappointment in a few bulbs put you off.
For the best quality bulbs I shop at anglia bulbs , bulbs are normally bigger and top quality . Choice isn't as good as others for some bulbs and a bit dearer but I don't mind if I am get better bulbs .
Had some of Gee tee last year they were good as well
Never had bulbs off farmer gracey so can't say about them
I have used Farmer Gracy for things such as muscari and alliums and been pleased with them.
