    That's what we used, Hosta, although they're apparently fond of Mars bars too.  :D

    Too sickly for me Hosta. A Snickers bar [or Marathon, as they should still be called] - you'd have to fight me for that.  :)

    Not a chance ... anyway there’s butchers around here that sell them jointed ready for casseroling 🥘

    I suppose they taste of chicken. Most things do. But apparently long pork tastes of - pork.

    No, unfortunately. I believe the recipe involves a large cauldron of boiling water. 
    Dumplings might be an acceptable substitute though.
