LB, when I was a nipper I used shoe boxes as rooms with tiny things in them.

I have made a list of plants to be dumped....ancient perennials which no longer perform well and plants to be moved in the autumn.  I now need to plan pot placements on the patio and at the front door and maybe succeed in reducing the number of pots. I'll no doubt drive grassman crazy as he will need to move them.

Thats a good idea about shoe boxes Joyce. Break it to the grassman gently!

Lovely for you to see the new arrival SGL.

Rain started an hour ago so I've been sitting reading.

Afties all. Hi SGL. Lots of hugs for the new little person. Are they both home now?
Rebecca - that little cat sounds just the job. I have got a lot of little cats from a pottery which closed in 2000 called Colour Box. I collected them for ages. I must have 50 or so. Very tiny and very cute.

Joyce, I'm not long in from the garden now. It isn't raining as yet but it looks threatening. I've got an amber alert for tomorrow and it isn't looking too clever for your area either. It sounds like a repeat of last Sunday to be honest when I had that scary M6 journey.

Gorgeous roses Ruby.  Mine have finished their first flush.

Have now had thunder with more forecast for during the night. Rain was coming down like stair rods.
