    Night, night LB.
I'm worn out with the heat.

T'bird,  I hope the weather cools down a bit for your niece. It's a pity they could't have delayed the start when the forecast was for a heatwave.

Well what a scorcher.  I had a much needed cool shower today.  I'm not going to bed until late as it's far too warm.  Hope you have a cooler night tonight and get some sleep.   It was 42 degrees in Paris.  LB I hope your knee improves.  Hope you had a good day despite the heat.

Evening all. I have survived the day at work. It was 37° in the car park when I got there about quarter past one. I didn't dare look at the thermometer inside the factory. I started work at 2, we had a 10 minute break at 4 .....30 minutes at 6.......another 10 minutes at 8 and finished at 10. We have water coolers available all the time.  When we finished at 10 the outside temperature was still 27°.

There would be a demand on the water coolers Pauline.

Rebecca, I intended to stay up late too but my eye lids are closing so I'm off to bed.

Hope everyone manages to sleep in the heat.

    Good morning everyone.
Last night was slightly better than yesterday so I managed to sleep a bit longer. I'm preparing myself mentally to trip to SM. I hate the crowd inside.

Pansy your job at Bassett’s liquorice Allsorts is nightmare for me. I really like cold weather. Can you imagine how many tourist with skin colour like that I see every day. People don't listen the warnings and they are going to the beach at noon. This is insane.

LB I'm glad that you had a nice day at resort. This rain looks divine and its more than welcome here.

T'Bird - that was sad news about the 2 members of Milly's cycling group but I hope that she makes it to the finish unscathed.
PF - good to see you and at least you are finally seeing some decent weather, even if its reducing you to beetroot colour.
Dobro jutro Ante and M-U. I can't see that chocolate lasting well on the eclairs. We early Rezzerrisers better eat them quickly
Ante- my Bestie and I went out and stood in the rain. It was wonderful. Her Mum was laughing at us and offered to pass out the soap so we could have a shower! To avoid scaring the wildlife we did keep our clothes on!
