    Good evening everyone.
Came from cottage half hour ago, wet and covered with mud but happy. It's raining since last night and I enjoy.

MU nice to see you around. I bet that you adore playing with dolls.

LB beautiful photo. Love butterflies. I'm glad that you are better now.

Chive don't be disappointment. This year is very hard to be a gardener. Ma sweet corn, chard and cucumbers are completely disaster. I won't have anything of them.

And now my harvest today. Potatoes can be bigger but I need them for cooking this week. It'll be veggie week and my folks are not very happy about that.

That looks a wonderful crop of veggies Ante. Good enough to be a work of art I think. Glad that you have had such a good day with the rain. It has now been raining here for 48 hours non-stop so I'm guessing when I look tomorrow the water butts will be full to overflowing.

Ante, you have made my mouth water at the thought of green beans with butter and black pepper.

Pansy, although not a vegetarian (my daughter is) I often have a week of veg, pulses and/or salad.

    Rain has started again.
    Night all. Sleep well.

I slept on the couch so now I'm off to bed.

    Thanks everybody.
Yes Pansy, completely organic. Not a single drop of chemistry in my garden.  When I work at garden I usually nibble veggies direct from plants. Also I'm not vegetarian but often have week without meat and it suits to me.

    Good night to all.

Morning LB and those to follow
Been awake for awhile,  not a great nights sleep again.😣
Looks very grey and dismal outside, hope the sun shines at some point today. Do hope we don't get the usual weather during school holidays. Our schools broke up Thursday afternoon and the weather has really changed since. 😔
Need to get a few bits from the SM and take a parcel to the post office.
Then going to do some bits in the garden, at least all this rain has made the earth easy to dig now 😉
Good to see you MU, have you got a dolly house yet.
Have a great day everyone, have fun.

Morning SGL, PF and Chive. Yes its still precipitating here but never mind. It may prevent a hose pipe ban. We'll have to wait until T'Bird and her OH get home to hear how their garden is looking as I THINK that they may have been in the driest area before. Got the VM engineer coming out today so I suppose I ought to make the effort and move all my craft stuff out of his way. I really love filling my garden waste bins Chive. They are almost like a challenge!

Morning - sun is shining, birds are singing and we’ll be hitting the M25 soon... Still, less than 2 hrs to home so, hopefully, the journey will be ok.

Hope VM get you sorted LB. We had ‘superfast’ broadband connected while we were away but apparently - it’s not particularly superfast. BT engineer reckons there’s a problem underground. We’ve been telling them for years that there’s a problem.

Be interesting to see how it gets sorted. Had a really weird dream last night about somebody coming to do some work, me forgetting and not being ready, overflowing toilets due to a ballcock being weighed down with books, and it all being in a house I had never lived in so I didn’t know where anything was. Uh? 🤔

Happy new bin day Chive! and hope those in the north haven’t been washed away.

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
