LB you buddleia really does her job. Must be covered with butterflies. Beautiful photos.

Joyce yes it's nice when nature give me a break from watering, but this year you have problem with rain and we with sun and heat.

Pansy, you have certainly annoyed the sun god this year.
Has the water leak been sorted?

I haven't seen as many butterflies as usual on the buddleias this year but it's been wetter than usual.

Afties all - Joyce that's 'cos they are all round at mine! I cannot keep count of them all. I am doing the butterfly count PF
Chive - that is such a comical analogy - love it!
PF - I have had several loud rolls of thunder and it has gone really, really dark. I'm blaming Chive who hinted it might be a good day to engage Lily's TV - so I did and just look at it!

Torrential rain here for the past 4 hours! Have done a bit of resting hot thing on cloth and taken Henry for a trip around the house now it’s a cuppa and a PD James book for an hour.

Thunder and lightening for several hours . Doing some knitting after lunch . This morning did some  glossing in the kitchen , hate the smell .

Put a bowl of vinegar in a corner Ruby - thats supposed to take away the smell of gloss paint.
No sooner were the cloth things out than they were in again. It heaved it down.
I picked my first (and only so far) ripe tomato:

This is SUPPOSED to be Sungold but I'm doubtful. Shouldn't it be .......well GOLD in colour? Some of the other Sungold plants appear to have baby plum tomatoes on them. not really complaining but it has me curious now.

Oh my goodness Debs. That path looks just like the lake did that I visited last Thursday.
