Kitty, the building work is getting there slowly.  The air was a bit blue cos the builders have been putting stuff down where it suits them...much of it on top of plants although daughter had moved as many pots as she could.

Redmaple, hope you perk up again soon.

The sun is out and the paths are drying out.

RM hope  that you feel a lot perkier soon .Joyce when we had scaffolding up , we were very unhappy when they took it down and threw the poles all over our small front garden . There was barely a plant standing .Kitty your garden is lovely particularly like the Callas .

Runners, that looks a beautiful, healthy rose. Rambling Rector is a huge rose - it can get up to 25 feet when allowed to ramble. Its flowers are followed by little red hips.

Afternoon - just back from having one of those 'Female medical checks' - you know the one they do every 3 years, heels together, let your knees go floppy... Lovely - my favourite way to spend 10 minutes🤥  I bet you all wanted to know that!

Kitty - your garden is looking bonny. Mine is currently being blown about - very gusty today. Still haven't tackled the grass or the hedges or the pots or anything else really. For some reason my get up and go for gardening has got up and gone this week. Still - it's a hobby. It's not a job. Should only have to do it when I fancy doing it. Could fancy a cuppa and a bar of chocolate instead right now...

I enjoyed your little golfing joke Pansy. Will pass that one on to the outlaws who are unable to walk past any round object without trying to hit it.

Runners - agree with LB - RR is a BIG rose (and a rather lovely one). Just how big is your arch?

Chive - hope the car is ok. Mine is booked in for service and MOT first thing tomorrow😬

I remember them well T'Bird. I reckon I could go a chocolate bar and a cup of tea too. In fact I'm being strangely drawn to the mystic kettle.

OMG Lants I've just had a deja vu sensation. Remeber the ghost sheep dog on M-U's pictures? Well I just looked back at Kitty's garden shots and I cannot see Che Guevara anywhere!

An afternoon of thunder and yet more rain. I was dozing off when one almighty crack woke me up.

I can see a 'face' at the window in Kitty's pic but then I also the 'dog' in M-U's pic.
In fact, I think M-U has a Rambling Rector unless I imagined that too.
It's a really healthy, strong looking plant RB.

Past the age now for feminine checks. Just the annual review of BP, weight, bloods and urine which I have next month.

I can see Che too - doo de doo doo😁 Well spotted Lants.
Chive - the ‘dog’ was one of those shapes made by foliage in which some people could make out a dog and others just saw grass or leaves - can’t quite remember now.

Sounds like a plan for the Clambering Cleric Runners. Would look good over a shed.

S&M 😉 have definitely gone down hill for a lot of their clothes - so many are made with  that really cheap, stretchy, sweaty polyester type fabric and a lot of their cotton stuff is very thin. Still like their skinny jeans and crops, camisoles and vests though.
