LB over an hour of heavy rain but it’s slowing down now. My garden won’t need watering for at least a week! Going out with work colleagues later so hope that’s the last of it!

Runners , yes . Painting the trim at the top of the tiles and then the trim round the counter.
All that will need doing then is to deep wax the tiles ,then it’s finished .
Thanks for the tip LB , I didn’t know that .

Rather wet Debs but, as you said, it saves you watering.  Enjoy your night out.

RB, Ruth has no time for him and, after the boos at the front door , he left Nichola's by the back door.

Ruby, hope the knitting went well this afternoon.

Love the taste of a home grown tomato but my friend's aren't ready yet.

Ruby, at least more positive things for you when rain stopped play - you got the painting finished. Well done you.
PF - how very dare they go home at four! Tsk tsk the country's going to rack and ruin. I did ike the M.P. threat though.

Haha, RB......don't worry....didn't even start the cupboards. Friend phoned and after a matter I just couldn't be bothered😂😂
Still absolutely chucking it down here  and so very windy. Bits of the oak tree are now on the grass.
Well it is the start of the school holidays 😕😟 the weather is often rubbish till they go back.

Meant to ask, is anyone watching Poldark. We watched episode one of this series last night......jumped about rather.  And Poldaarrk himself wasn't what he used to be 😉

I'm watching it SGL but its not really grabbed me yet. Maybe it is just one series too many but it is the last one so I will watch it to the bitter end. Thought that the treatment of George Warleggan was absolutely barbaric and the scary thing is that this is probably how they did treat those poor unfortunates.
