I rinsed off a rootball in a tub of water and found a grub alive under water the next day.

Or make them sleep with the fishes. Fishes like them as much as the birds do.

Really?  It's certainly not an expression I ever use, and can't say I've seen it used overly much throughout the forum.  I generally refer to she who must be obeyed as 'the missus'.

I know the names of most of the men in my street but since they always refer to their wives as 'the missus' I hardly know any of the womens' names.

Only one weevil tonight. The weather might take a lot of the blame though.

I think it's back as a sub-genus of sedum now. Apparently hylotelephium means 'woodland distant lover'. Which just suggests that botanists need to get out more :#

Plant labelling round here is a very hit and miss affair @Hostafan1 and sometimes they just put "Vivace" meaning perennial.  Getting a botanical name with a variety is definitely a stretch except in a serious nursery.  Makes it hard to keep up with the lastest changes and the not so recent too.

I see on tonight's GW that Monty has a problem with the new name for sedums too.  Somehow, it is not comforting.
