Oy, just cos' you're a sophisticate from that London, there's nothing wrong with cheese rolling, it's a great day out! :)
I'd be much happier watching cheese rolling than netball, cricket, football, athletics etc etc. At least it looks funĀ

I think it's more fun to take a dog for a walk, but if you prefer the company of a lump of cheese, that's fine. At least you don't have to clear up after it, I suppose😊

I agree, there is nothing like watching people throwing themselves down a steep hillside in pursuit of cheese. It's amazing how high the human body can bounce.....šŸ¤•

Curmudgeons thread and I am killing myself laughing.

Am I going to be arrested if I look up Dwile Flonking on the web? :o:D
Even Doves titillating partial description does not really explain it....or have I led a sheltered life?

As I recall all the participants choose a name as an alias in order to compete ... we’ve all got aliases... perhaps we should have a GW Dwile Flonking Ā team ... ? šŸ»Ā

If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

Sorry Dove, looks like it's far too dangerous. Heaven forbid people can use common sense!
Maybe consider the cheese rolling instead.......
