Grammar, speling and punkchooation pedants

I thought it was time we had a thread of own, and stopped baffling our fellow curmudgeons who sensibly think it's what you say that matters, not how you say (or write) it.

Here's a contribution just for fun:

"King Charles I walked and talked half an hour after his head was cut off."

If you punctuate it correctly, it makes perfect sense.

    "later" would be better than "after" (but not so silly with the missing punctuation :D)

    I do prefer posts that are grammer than others. Personal taste.
