We’ve got a cold start today. Minus 8.5c.

We are being driven to Canberra for an appt  with the Oncologist, so we will be weary this afternoon. Luckily I made enough chicken soup yesterday to see us through this evening as well.

Good morning all  :) ☕️  It overcast here but according to the forecast we’re in for a few dry days and even some spells of sunshine  ... I’d better do some weeding ...

Morning all/afties Pat. Hope all goes well. Very tiring for you both.
SHowers for us today too I think. Quite wet last night again, but at least it was dry for the man to fix the leaky roof. yesterday afternoon.  I wonder if it's safe to move the greenhouse back, or if something else will need attention at the back of the house.
Hope OH is ok today BL. That's very unpleasant. These things are often worse the following day too. Is it worth a trip to A&E though,  just to make sure he hasn't done any damage that you can't see?
Great pic Hosta. Sparrowhawks get a bad press because we get them in our gardens, but they're only doing what they do. A low flying buzzard crossed my path the other day when I was out. Love them too.

We have a lot of buzzards down here, they are such unassuming birds, they stay in their own territory which isn’t very big,  the old crows give them hell in the sky and they never retaliate.  They are wonderful parents and its marvellous  to watch them teaching the young to fly.

Glad you’re home @Pat E ... have some soup and put your feet up ((hugs)).

    Morning @Fairygirl ... glad the roof’s fixed 👍

If it’s too wet to weed down your way @Hostafan1 you could give me a hand ... flippin weeds are growing like they’re on steroids around here ... and the honeysuckles and clematis need tiring in down in the sunny corner ...

Rain has brought every thing on here as well Dove, ground elder flowering, very pretty!
I have never seen my garden so lush and we get rain at the best of times.
    Talk about like giving water.😀

Late summer we regularly get little groups of them overhead, being chased by crows, Lyn. You hear the youngsters keening, and then it's a case of looking up to see where they are.  :)
Morning Dove. I'm wondering if it's safe to re paint fairylet's ceiling now  :D
