All Azaleas are officially Rhododendrons. This one is a deciduous one...there are many named cultivars. Many are very fragrant. As it comes under Azalea section of Rhododendron they have just 5 stamen. It may be Rhododendron luteum, the yellow azalea or honeysuckle azalea,. Synonyms.....Azalea pontica/Rhododendron flavum. Or another named cultivar.
The cross over of names does seem odd, but all are right. Pity my garden isn't big enough for one as it states at least 4 metres all round @Lizzie27 , @josusa47 , @Silver surfer
The fern is beautiful @Paul B3 and looked lovely on the stone wall. Do they stay that small or do they need more room do you know.
On stone walls the roots are relatively restricted ; moisture can be at a premium too , hence the slightly reduced proportions of plants growing in situations like that .
I have this Asplenium growing in good loamy garden soil ; it is still a very delicate and symetrical object , only slightly larger .
One of my favourites !
I do envy people with natural stone walling in their gardens ; opens up an entirely new spectrum of gardening possibilities .
