    Wish I could get anywhere near a garden! Stuck in hospital since Friday,  no sign of getting out. I see sun and a brick wall.🙄

    Thanks @Allotment Boy it will only be for a while then in again for gall bladder out ( in the next god knows when)

    The guy on a neighbouring plot uses a rotavator, it looks a lot harder work than digging the ground over with a spade .

    I have a rotavator but wouldn't use it on undug ground I don't think that it has the guts for my clay soil but I do sometimes use it to cultivate soil that has been dug and needs breaking up, I would use it more but it's a pig to get into the car. Started planting spuds on Tuesday and Wednesday now need to rest my aching back before planting the final seven rows next week.
