I'll go tomorrow as the weather looks to be dry, still getting over Monday and Tuesday's work so will potter at home today.

I went to allotment at about 7.30 this morning , there wasn't a soul in sight. Put some scraps in compost bins, did a bit of hoeing and that was me for today.

I usually go into the first gate I come to but instead took the one closest to my plot. Wore gloves and cleaned all areas of padlock and handles etc both in out (probably ott but.....).

I'm going to ask if any isolated plot holders need a bit of weeding doing.

Went this morning earthed up potatoes, prepared bed for carrots and covered with plastic cloche to warm up a bit, emptied compost bins then returned to the safety of home. Not that many on site this morning the roads were quieter too maybe the threat of police stopping motorists put some off of travelling. No real need to visit the plot for a week so will be following government stay at home advice until then.

Anyone going out should carry ID now as police are checking why you are out , if for work get a letter saying you are needed. Daughter in London says alot of police there, they are checking movement of everyone.
