My rabbit peed on me the other day, I didn’t realise they did so much in one go!Ā

We don't get many jaguars around our way but it's always good to be prepared. Thank you for your kind offer. You definitely get a good sortĀ  on this thread!

On the subject of "Ideas for seasonal interest in container planting" a particular favourite combination of mine is 'dead stick with weeds' The dead stick is obviously the key component for winter structure, while the weeds offer that bit of zest for the warmer months. I find it can work equally well in small pots...

and larger ones for a more impressive display.Ā

Always remember to put bricks under your pots in order to improve drainage and a good backdrop is key to getting the most from your planting.

That, I'll have you know, is a stake to hold up the dead stick in case it gets windy. True, it used to be a fork handle. But I can assure you it has never been a sausage

I seeĀ  youĀ  haveĀ  an extensiveĀ  beeĀ  hotelĀ  complex.Ā  HopefullyĀ  yourĀ  weed container willĀ  attractĀ  pollenatorsĀ  (sp? )
Apparently paper wasps are quiteĀ  bright. Perhaps you could put up a sign.Ā

@Lantana, I love the bird poop down the wall in your picture on Page 19. Was that a comment on the lonely geranium or an attempt by a feathered friend to add some fertiliser to a starving plant?
@raisingirl, I thought it was a black pudding projecting from your plant pot in picture 2.

Fuchsia - I have waited two years for you to show your face. What's occurring?
