That's the same owl as mine! I bunged the head somewhere as it blocked the sunlight so it didnt charge up.
I left the torso on a bench and it functions in a way that a headless chicken does, i suppose.
It lights up the corner of the bench every night -poignant in a way😕
If you want yours to work, you need to decapitate it.

Talking of bad design, why is the padding at the back of your shin instead of the front?  Creationists, your explanation would be appreciated.

Loving this thread, great stuff. Sadly, to my shame, I have to confess to being too much of a neat freak so any potential offerings would be immediately disqualified. I do have an old car roof rack abandoned in a bramble patch by previous owner, plus the old chicken run is pretty impressive in its standards of dilapidation but I can’t claim ownership of either so would be posting them under false pretences. Is there any hope for me?

Thanks for the encouragement @Ladybird4, but I feel soooo unworthy. Its a serious personality defect and I’m not sure its curable. I will try harder and see if I can pluck up the courage tomorrow.
