The French rubbish has a certain je ne sais quois. A great achievement to show that sloth knows no boundaries. I see that you also believe in keeptheboxincaseyouhavetosenditback.
I,too, have a collection of those. Some of them have outlived the contents.

You never know when a box will come in handy.

That's how stuff accumulates. It never comes in handy until after you've got rid of it and you never find a lost tool until you've bought a new one.

I have been browsing around the forum and realised that I may have to resign my membership of this particular thread.  Lockdown has reduced me to tidying quite a few areas of the garden and unfortunately my shed has now gone from this

    To this

Has any other member of this illustrious club also fallen by the wayside?

OMG😱 The ribbons on the jars! What did you do with all of the junk? (Your one chance to redeem yourself)
Looking at the before, how often did you dust your junk? - narry a cobweb to be seen
You may have to find the tidy shed thread

I’m so glad this thread showed up! I now see that I’ve been brainwashed by the garden gallery.

This is a box ‘growing’ in a pot that I inherited in the garden. It fell over one winter and the top bit died. I now use it to dry my marigolds, socks and knickers when I’ve run out of space on the washing line.
The original plan had been to do a Monty on it and whip it into shape.

@B3 believe me there were lots and lots of cobwebs and spiders.  The trays and jars with the ribbons were used at Secondborn's wedding.  A lot of junk got dumped/recycled and a lot of Hubby's tools were put down the cellar.   Now if there was a thread about untidy cellars I'd win a prize handsdown.

@Amphibios, might we see a picture of it in use?
@Yviestevie, allowances have to be made in these trying times. I must confess that I have made inroads into turning the wasteland at the end of the garden into a garden. In my defence,I havent been into the garage for months and my husband is a stand in the doorway and lob expert so who knows what's in there? 😊
