I suppose you can't please everyone... seems odd to complain about AF talking about garden design in a gardening programme...

I glazed over in the houseplant section.  But I can appreciate its appeal for those who like houseplants...
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

...... I just had to laugh though when the opening shot was of him pushing a wheelbarrow with a dog alongside! I wonder if they deliberately filmed it like that to parody Monty?  ....
Well, not to parody Monty ... he’s not the director, he doesn’t call the shots ... the director was intentionally parodying his own work ... a touch of humour 😉

Or maybe the production team don't realise they have no imagination and churn out the same stuff every week?
I loved Alan's garden, but hit the FF button for the pot plants, just not my bag.
Denman's garden looks a lot better than it was 25 years ago when I was there. It was full of ground elder.

There's a model, Summer Rayne Oaks, who has a Youtube channel about her even more OTT house plant collection. Her Brooklyn apartment is half way to being a tropical house...

Nah!  That was very tongue in cheek @Hostafan1 ... very obvious ... even OH remarked on it and he only watches GW with half an eye 🤣

Yes Adam passed the audition if that's what it was, nice to see glimpses of his lovely house, the cat and dog were stars too. I look forward to seeing Adam taking a more central part.

I really liked it! As a beginner (normally feels advanced, and many things irrelevant to me, but probably not so for more seasoned gardeners!). Nice to see the start of things!

Beautiful house  <3  and gardens  <3

Despite Adam sounding like an EastEnd barrow boy and a bit of a 'eezer geezer', I actually quite liked him and it was a bit refreshing to get something different to watching the same thing that MD has been doing year in year out for the last several years to the point that sometimes I think I'm watching a repeat from any of the years MD has been on air. If last weeks GW was an audition then I'd be quite happy for Adam to get the job.  MD's format is tired.  He's had a good run on our licence fee paying money.  Time for somebody else to have a go.
