@Dovefromabove I have a 6 and 10 year old so have it mentioned most days 🤣
Do they not know that if it’s mentioned before November Father Christmas crosses that address off his list?!?!

Oddly, for an area with hunters, the only "game" I've seen on sale here is farmed venison from NZ at Xmas in the SM.  Never at markets.  I used to do a lot of braised red cabbage till I found the red salad recipe.   It is endlessly tweakable and utterly delish.

No C word here till after our birthdays end Nov and early December.

Another hour of my life I won't get back! The only interesting piece was Frances Tophill and the creams and potions.

Goes to show we’re all different ... that’s the bit I fast forwarded through ... OH watched the alpine planting avidly ... I watched the planting of the red cabbages and fantasised about spicy braised cabbage with pheasant ... 🍽

Me too - fast forwarded through the nonsense about making soaps......but loved the day lilies and the scented garden 😀.  And didn’t notice the box as was too mesmerised by those beautiful clematis obelisks .....note to self, grow more group 3 clematis 🤪

I didn't even notice the clematis. Maybe if they'd showed more plants and less dogs it'd have been more relevant.

The clematis were wonderful ... that purple one towering overhead absolutely smothered with blooms ... amazing 😍

I haven't watched the program yet, usually on a Sunday when I tend not to fall asleep, anyway watched Beechgrove and Chris Beardshaw has cured his Box hedge and it's looking good again, maybe he should have have a word in Monty's ear.

I have serious clematis envy where that one is concerned @Dovefromabove.
I must admit to feeling sad about the Paradise Garden,  l remember when he first started it, and the bowl water feature in the middle of it. Last night it was barely visible.
However, it is his garden and we all like different things.
My OH commented on the "preachy" feel last night @Songbird-1 :)
Hoping to see Adam's garden again soon.

I must be too easy to please! I love to see cats, dogs and children in gardens, and usually enjoy seeing all the different styles that people choose for their own gardens. That scented garden would do me a treat.
