Not me.  He'll be self isolating and writing articles for newspapers and magazines and maybe another book.   He and his garden are logistically far more difficult to get to for a film crew and, because of its claustrophobic layout, hard for a camera crew to keep a safe distance.

Looking forward to more from Adam's garden and Rachel's new venture, both of which are far more to my taste, as are Adam's presenting style and content.

I actually watched the whole programme last Friday - the first time for ages.  Monty's garden, his multi-tooled shed, which he seems to delight in showing off (how many trowels does the man need, for goodness sake?) and his rather patronising (to me) style of presenting have had me running for the hills!
Adam's style is much more relaxed; he didn't talk down but acknowledged the need for new gardeners to understand some of the basics.
Rachel is always a pleasant presenter, and I shouldn't have any deep-seated envy with her soon-to-be walled kitchen garden.  (But I do really - but it looks like a long-term fascinating project - perfect for TV).

Looks like Beechgrove will be back on the 16th on BBC Scotland.   Look out of it on BBC2 the following Sunday morning.   Another good, practical show.

Great show again lots to take in do enjoy Carols enthusiasm and everyone else, good to see Monty popping in with a smile he's back on next week.
  • He mentioned that his friends call him Frosty. Now I only want to call him Frosty too - what a lovely friendly nickname. And somehow really suits him 😊
So hopefully there will be a lot of Frosty this season, of his charming garden and his confident cat 😊

I enjoyed it, Frosty ( :) ) seemed to strike just the right tone. He makes me smile with his references to the cat !
I'll be interested to see the results of Monty's request for viewer's videos. I think there wasn't much else they can do given the circumstances. It seems to be a return to Longmeadow next week,  but l do hope we see Adam and his garden again.
