Given the total mess of the "wildlife garden" , he couldn't say too much could he?
Monty’s garden looked even more claustrophobic than usually. Those fence panels and high hedges literally everywhere create such an uncomfortable feeling , and in the wildlife garden - in particular. I assume there is a practical reason for all those fences (windy area perhaps) and they probably don’t look so bad in real life but on TV they create a horrible confined atmosphere. So thank goodness for the fast forward function on the remote. Where is Adam with his cosy garden?
Article in yesterday's Daily Mail says that Longmeadow is Britain's 'Best loved garden'. Lots of pictures and a plan of the garden. The Long Walk seems to be completely blocked with acanthus, a good picture to see for those who ask on here what it is. Missed Friday's edition, sounds like I 'missed' nothing.
I saw that article too @Loraine3, and thought "Really? " Must confess l didn't read it thoroughly, but l think it might have been based on Instagram likes ? I did wonder how a garden that no one can visit "in the flesh" could become the best loved.
Why would anyone believe anything that’s written in the Daily Mail ? There was probably as much real journalism expended on that article as there is on the other articles it publishes 🤣
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
