The Beeb should dig out the GW episodes with Geoff Hamilton and show those instead of the things that they can't film now. Anything older than that is probably too old (chemicals that we don't use any more, etc).

I feel better for that !
All those pots though, blimey. My first thought was "vine weevil heaven" 😁
And a lot of filming for a 6 minute segment apparently

I know it was filmed a week in advance, but houseplants are not going to help if we need fresh veg. Hopefully they will have caught up by next week and show us how to grow what everyone needs to keep healthy.

There's no guarantee they'll even be able to film it. The crew must travel to Longmeadow every week. Hopefully they'll be able to carry on.

  • And if anyone thinks they can depend to feed themselves on what they grow in a domestic garden...dream on. So don't see how whatever GW show next week will change anything. Let's treat it as escapism....which has its place.
