..Halimium 'Sandling'... it's a sprawler.. great for hot dry soils..

     Halimium [forgot the name momentarily]…

..this yellow edger Erysimum 'Golden Jubilee'  forms a wide evergreen mat of foliage, and easy to strike from cuttings, I did 6 during the winter, just break bits off and pop into a pot..   I do love these edging plants... I also have lots of Iberis sempervirens [Candytuft]…

Iberis 'Appen Etz'.. noted for very thin foliage..

Euphorbia mellifera... one of my favourite plants... surrounded by lots of roses too..

    Narcissus 'Sun Disc'...

I grow roses in shade, they perform exceptionally well... I underplant with Brunnera 'Jack Frost' which I love..

Does there exist a plained leaf brunnera?

Yes @Fire there is... some people prefer it, I used to as well.. the foliage fits in better during summer... more than the variegated one I think.. but I just cut it all to the ground after flowering and then the fresh leaves look better..

@Mary370 @Dovefromabove   thanks so much, and nice to see you here too.!.. hope you look in again... @Eglantyne .. as well. !.. thanks..

Interesting to see your Desdemona. I don't like her on DA website where it looks creamy white with a bit of pink. But I saw some pictures of her on Facebook where there was much more of the pink shading and absolutely beautiful. And now yours with yellow centres.

@edhelka Like most roses, she changes colour depending on weather..
Later I will see blooms like these..

..might even get a really huge white bloom too..  this is a great shrub rose for our borders, and especially good as a hedge I think..
