Decent amount of rain over the past couple of days and it's been a mixed blessing. I'm trying to weed the borders and widen by about a foot, removing the grass to do so. Getting the weeds out of the border is an absolute dream as the soil now breaks up so easily. Getting the soil off the grass I've removed less easy. Before the rain, I could dig the grass up and shake or crumble the soil off the back of it. Now the soil is sticking like *** to a blanket.
