A 3 minute splatter here. Someone isn't doing the dance right. I could go to IKEA. I always get a soaking in their car park, but I'm not sure how far the fluence reaches. Probably not even as far as my own garden.
It chucked it down while I was at work with water streaming across roads and pavements. When I got home (just 3 miles away) the roads and pavements were completely dry - not a drop had fallen. Still, with the forecast for the next couple of weeks looking a bit on the wet side, things are bound to average themselves out, surely..
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
We had a nice chunk heading towards us on the radar, but it fizzled out nearly completely before it got here (Sussex coast). Just enough to put a shine on the patio and it was gone.
I bought soaker hose for part of my garden last year which was a big help and I already had cause to use it once this year. I think I'll be putting in more soaker hoses this year for other parts.

Have to pump it up from here in South Wales, last year wasn't clever potato crop very poor with lack of rain but so far this year pretty good, expecting rain again today.
