Happy Birthday @punkdoc it was my OH B'day yesterday & we went on an adventure. We went to Brighton by TRAIN, finally got to see the Royal Pavilion something we both wanted to do for ages. It did not disappoint, the only slight negative was a large noisy school party that all had audio guides playing on speakers (why no headphones?). So we had to do a bit of jumping forward and then backtracking to avoid them. A long day but it's one more off the list. I love being 27 especially now we are both retired Back to reality today garden & Allotments will need watering as it is so dry.
Sitting outside the pub, in glorious sunshine, waiting for food to arrive. @Lily Pilly, as for my age: __ Ways to leave your Lover, + __ Seas of Rhye, + Take __ , - Your the __ that I want.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
Happy birthday punkdoc, sounds as though it's a good one.
Haven't done much today. My new ordered on line photo album came yesterday. I'm so pleased with it I've spent ages selecting photos and ordering another one.
Had long chats with daughter 2 and son 1 on the phone.
Going to son 2 to deliver birthday presents tomorrow, then to friends' 50th anniversary in the evening. Going to daughter 1 for lunch on Sunday. It's French Mother's Day.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Hello folks we’re back from an afternoon at the seaside ... including a very late fish & chip lunch with ginger beer ... called in at friends on the way home to off-load some of our rhubarb mountain and admire their new kitchen and incredibly elegant chinchilla cats (from a distance cos of OHs chest). Now we’re home and collapsed on the sofa ... still stuffed 😊
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

Belated congratulations to @AuntyRach. Great news, makes the hard work worth while.
Hi Wonky! Good to see you. Hope you get some time to yourselves over the weekend.
Hi Pat! Hope the magic pills work for your OH... best wishes to you both.
So glad little Lily has bounced back - hope you feel much better soon, LilyP.
Lovely sunny, breezy day here. I know we need rain, but the blue sky and sunshine certainly raise the spirits.
