Hello everyone;;; hope you’re all safe and well,,,, well my wisteria has come along but still no flowers there are buds bud thay get so far them fall of,,,, iv feed it and topped it at the start of spring,,,,, help
Hello there. I have a potted wisteria sinensis which has never flowered in 3 years. Leaves look to be very light green. What feeding should I apply in terms of NPK? Can anyone help please? Many thanks.
They much prefer to be in the ground - large fairly greedy plants so that could be the reason your's is not doing too well. @Obelixx is a wisteria grower so hopefully will see this and advise you
I inherited 2 huge wisteria when we moved here 6 and a half years ago, both planted in the ground and with a sturdy main trunk. Both are a deep, 2 tone mauve and purple and very happy so I bought a white flowered one with purple tips, in flower.
Didn't have anywhere to plant it out as the plot is mostly former pasture or rubble so I planted it in a 60cms deep and wide pot and it thrived on good compost, regular watering and feeding but did not flower again for 3 years. I then planted it out 2 years ago and it has grown and flowered prolifically since and is about to burst forth again in the next day or so.
If you really can't get yours in the ground, you're going to have to find the biggest pot or raised bed you can find, fill it with good quality John Innes no 3 type compost miced with up to 30% MPC and feed it generously every spring with slow release fertiliser plus regular tonics of liquid feed. Don't let it get thirsty in the growing season.

Thank you Obelixx, I will try out your suggestion. I may be able to transfer to ground, maybe when it goes dormant. In the pot, it sheds all leaves in winter.
Plant it asap. You'll still need to water it as tho in a pot but it will have more time to get its roots down and make flower buds for next year. Losing leaves in winter is normal.
Thank you again Obelixx. I will probably wait till December to move and replant it. I will be able to prune it and have more flexibility when it is dormant. Just my guess.
