Why can't I stop buying plants?!

I got a message from a nursery I visited earlier in the year to say a couple of plants I inquired about are available again, so I plan to pop in tomorrow. There's a couple more plants I've got my eye on so who knows how many I'll leave with!

Got "dragged" to the nursery with mum, to buy bedding plants for her. Ended up buying a fabulous off-white Achillea 'Lucky Break,' thinking it would break up the purple colours in my border. Turns out it just stands out like a sore thumb so I took it out and replaced with an Anthemis EC Buxton, relocated from elsewhere where it wasn't doing much. Much head scratching and I eventually managed to find a home for the Achillea by the wall but in no sense was it 'needed'. It also meant I had to move a Nepeta 'Kit Kat' to make way for it, which ended up in the site vacated by the Anthemis EC Buxton. And now I am feeling dizzy.

@Ericaheather don't worry the voucher is valid for another week :)

I've succumbed yet again. Clematis Corrine arrived from Taylors today, as did a large delphinium and 3 lupins from Secret Garden Club.  To cap it all off I'm going to Wollerton Old Hall and David Austin roses tomorrow, there's no hope for me, is there.

Went into B&Q looking for a clumps hammer came out without the hammer but did have an Astilbe. Well the hammer wouldn't grow but the Astilbe will. I now have to go to Screwfix for the clump hammer.

@Yviestevie, face it, it's a lost cause. Just go with the flow 😁!
I dropped a "not very subtle" hint in OH's ear about visiting David Austin, but his selective deafness kicked in just at that moment . Probably just as well.
I caught up with Carol Klein's visit to John's garden last night. What an absolutely beautiful place that is, and what a lovely man. Trouble is, l expect that the next time he opens it, they'll be queuing out of the door.

At the weekend we went to our favourite GC for a new pot for a couple of ferns, well the David Austin roses we 25% off, what is a chap supposed to do ;).

Exactly @Allotment Boy, they'd gone to all that effort to go through all those roses and reduce the prices. It would have been extremely rude not to have bought at least one.
What did you get ?  :)

We got a climber Tess of the Durbavilles deep red highly scented. We have put it in a large tub that I usually grow the sweet peas in, but I messed up this year & was too late sowing, plus after the daffodils were finished a whole lot of self sown poppies came up, all cleared away now. We have a frame support that the sweet peas usually grow up so the rose can go up that. If it gets too big we will have to find space in a border by a fence. We visited two gardens under the NGS scheme on Sunday I though our garden was packed but we have loads of room by comparison :D

@AnniD as Ashwoods is only 10 mins away I visit John's Garden on most open days, it is really beautiful.  Missed the last open day as granson was taken into hospital (OK now).  I don't hold out much hope for restraint tomorrow as I really want Shropsire Lad, I'd actually like two of them to grow up an arch over the bench at the top of the garden.  Trouble is when you add up the cost of the roses and a strong arch it's a bit pricey.
