Can a raise the crown of this yew?

hi! we have an inherited yew (I think) weve changed a lot around it but would like to keep this Bush/tree/yew. It blocks late day sunlight so one idea is to raise its crown and turn it into more of a tree shape. Is this possible? I dont want to kill it! Seems like it should be but have never attempted anything like it…
